    I am a British fine artist who studied art in Sweden. I knew I wanted to be a painter since I was a child. I have been fortunate enough to havelived in many places around the globe. Living in countries like Kenya and East Africa have certianly influneced my use of colour and immediacy with brushtrokes. Painting brings me great joy, and is the best way I can express myself.

    Painter. I came to art comparatively late after a career in teaching, and child raising. BA(Hons) from Sheffield Hallam University. Studio artist at Dean Clough Halifax since 1995. I have exhibited widely since then and have work in public collections. My work is inspired by colour, the natural world, industrial features, pleasure in materials and a need to create an expressive abstract space

    I am an artist and art historian of Swiss and Belgian origin. I taught for several years Plastic Arts and Art History. Now, I am fully devoted to the creation as well as the promotion of my artistic work in Switzerland and internationally. I have focused my research on overcomming the classical border between an artwork and the viewer. This desire gave rise to my "intervariactive" artworks.

    A figurative artist, I work in various mediums but predominantly in acrylic and oils and create artwork that is representational, sensitive and spiritual expressed through colour, form, line, and texture. I work on self-initiated projects to build a current, cohesive and comprehensive portfolio and am always pushing the boundaries of my abilities to find ways to cross-over and develop my practice.

    I am an artist based in Leeds. The concept of drawing is the subject of my work, focusing on the crucial role of materiality within an essential language of drawing.     My mixed-media practice is influenced by science and often draws inspiration from my Dutch/Brazilian heritage. It aims to encourage the viewer to question knowledge and value systems by teasing their cognitive senses. Since graduating from Goldsmiths in 2004 I have exhibited in galleries, museums and alternative venues across the UK and done residencies in France, Holland and Finland.
