    Painter. I came to art comparatively late after a career in teaching, and child raising. BA(Hons) from Sheffield Hallam University. Studio artist at Dean Clough Halifax since 1995. I have exhibited widely since then and have work in public collections. My work is inspired by colour, the natural world, industrial features, pleasure in materials and a need to create an expressive abstract space

    I am an artist and art historian of Swiss and Belgian origin. I taught for several years Plastic Arts and Art History. Now, I am fully devoted to the creation as well as the promotion of my artistic work in Switzerland and internationally. I have focused my research on overcomming the classical border between an artwork and the viewer. This desire gave rise to my "intervariactive" artworks.

    I am a multidisciplinary artist interested in selling my Paintings in the future and hopefully becoming a successful artist working in Coventry and Warwickshire area.     A figurative artist, I work in various mediums but predominantly in acrylic and oils and create artwork that is representational, sensitive and spiritual expressed through colour, form, line, and texture. I work on self-initiated projects to build a current, cohesive and comprehensive portfolio and am always pushing the boundaries of my abilities to find ways to cross-over and develop my practice.

    I am an artist based in Leeds. The concept of drawing is the subject of my work, focusing on the crucial role of materiality within an essential language of drawing.     My mixed-media practice is influenced by science and often draws inspiration from my Dutch/Brazilian heritage. It aims to encourage the viewer to question knowledge and value systems by teasing their cognitive senses. Since graduating from Goldsmiths in 2004 I have exhibited in galleries, museums and alternative venues across the UK and done residencies in France, Holland and Finland.
