    Inspired by her home county of Yorkshire, Katrina works in a wild and free manner such as the laws of nature demand. The motive behind these stimulating paintings is the exploration of beauty in our surroundings. Taking patterns and colours from flowers, water, earth and sky and using them as stand alone designs or to decorate a variety of creatures, transforming them into hypnotic beings.

    I'm a video & sound artist & writer living and working in rural Shrewsbury. My creative practice explores my relationship to the spaces & landscapes I call home. I'm interested in the ways I share these spaces with those around me especially those who aren’t often seen. My work is inspired by the natural world and ancient stories connected to the land and the plants and animals that reside there.

    Kate studied Fine Art in London, Brighton and Falmouth; currently based at Trewarveneth Studios in Newlyn, Cornwall. From 2000- 2007 Kate trained in classical shamanism, learning about First Nations’ people’s relationships with Nature, totems and invisible worlds.     Tina Ramos Ekongo is an Equatorial Guinean painter and illustrator who lives and works in Manchester, England. She was born in 1987 in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea. She obtained her bachelor degree in Fashion Design in 2010 from Escuela Superior de Disenyo (School of Design) in Valencia, Spain. Previously in 2008 she studied Art and Craft in Escuela de Artes de (School of art) in Zaragoza, Spain.

    I am a female visual Artist from Doncaster working from my rurally situated Studio, I am inspired by the beauty of the natural world and paint predominately using my preferred mediums of Acrylic and watercolour paint. My paintings often include elements of neo impressionism and I work with a vibrant colour palette. I have a Fine Art Degree.

    I work across and between object making, performance to camera, video, book works, actions and more. Work often hops between media and processes as it develops. Much of the screen based and online work hints at a longing for the physical and for touch. Other themes include cultural ignorance and ways we are positioned by power relationships (as exemplified by language or objects).

    Since completing my Photography MA (Falmouth) in autumn 2019, I have been working hard to establish myself as a visual artist in the digital field. Alongside this I have been a support to my elderly parents and cared for children of key workers in my family during the pandemic . I primarily create intricate, digitally painted composites, as a method of contemporary nostalgic storytelling.
