    I create sculptural lights using repurposed materials and everyday objects. My latest projects are a collaboration between my brother and me. The lights we craft together originate from ordinary items that we assemble into articulated shapes, which we then enhance with carefully selected paper and fabric coverings, along with a bespoke light source, resulting in beautiful, tactile lights.

    I am a conceptual artist based in London. I moved to London from Ukraine in 2001 and have been a part of Studio Fridays until 2022. I am self taught and draw my inspiration from the connection between humans and nature, exploring transience, change, grief, loss and ageing. I am the Ambassador of Arts 4 Dementia & run community workshop for people with dementias.

    I have been painting and exhibiting since 1998 and spent 12 years in Vietnam where I owned a gallery. I am so happy to be back in my native Yorkshire. My recent watercolour and acrylic works concern themes such as Origins, Belonging and the Joy of Life. I believe in the honesty of art and follow where my inspirations lead me.     I am a full time artist mainly working in textiles. I have a degree in Fashion & Textiles from Leicester Polytechnic, but have been working in 'creative textiles' for over 15 years. I have experience of working in the community and in schools, creating large textile installations. I also exhibit my work in various exhibitions and Open Studios. I sell my smaller works at fairs and in galleries.
