    A late arrival to the world of Art Textiles. I graduated from De Montfort University in 2003 with a first-class honours degree in Textile Design & Production and spent the following 21 years working in the commercial world of textiles in various guises. My art practice is mixed media, using wool fibres, wool felt, paint, print, stitch and found objects to create one-of-a-kind works of art.

    I am in my early seventies having studied art in the last twenty years. My interest in the natural world, the climate crisis and threats to biodiversity are reflected in the work that I make in a variety of materials.     I have returned to working as an artist after a long career as a Mental Health Nurse and have rediscovered the joy that creating art can bring. I work primarily with printmaking, working from a group studio in the Rossendale Valley in Lancashire.
