    I am a visual artist based in York, UK. Formerly a teacher of literature & drama in the UK and Spain, I was awarded an MA in Fine Art in 2020 and went on to co-manage a community gallery and studio at 23 Piccadilly.     Marika is a skilled artist and a PhD candidate at Sheffield Hallam University.     I am a visual artist, educator and researcher. I earned a Ph.D. degree in Art Education at the Athens School of Fine Arts (Department of Theory and History of Art).     I am a neurodivergent artist making art about living with neurodiversity through ceramics, drawing, painting, printmaking, installation and sculpting. I was born with autism, am dyslexic, have a high IQ, went through an event aged 17 and then another linked event aged 18 that left me with PTSD and that caused developmental issues in my brain leading to the symptoms of ADHD now being prevalent.
