    Mixed media artist working primarily in 3D exploring ideas around non-scientific means to influence the world and people. By using the language of fetish, charm, ceremony, etc., using found and sustainably created objects and combining them I find new meanings.     I am a teacher of Geography and until a few years ago I never thought I had a creative bone in my body. I then discovered wood turning and the joy of shaping wood as if it was clay. I have rapidly moved away from traditional wood turning and like to use a variety of non-traditional wood and different materials that enhance the wood. I like form and shape inspired by nature.
