A Venezuelan-born American artist and creative technologist, he lives and works between Newark, NJ, and Tokamachi, Japan, exploring sound’s spatial and sensory potential.

    Rachel (they/them) is a prolific, intuitive artist who has been practicing since graduating in1990 from Central Saint Martins School of Art, London.     From a science background, now studying BA (Hons) Fine Art. My motivation and intention is using art as activism. My major themes are ecocide and rewilding; animal, human, children's and disability rights; and social justice.     My work explores the relationship between science and art. I visited the Moscow Museum of Cosmonautics and I was inspired to paint. Struck by the huge space hardware, it seemed to me that space exploration represented the most positive aspects of humanity. Great achievements are only made possible by the collaboration of skilled, knowledgeable people working together towards a common goal.
