    I am a Hampshire based figurative painter exploring contemporary representations of the female form. My work reinterprets historical imagery, challenging traditional depictions of women in art. Using bold colour and expressive brushwork, I aim to reframe past narratives and invite viewers to reconsider how the female body has been portrayed across different periods.

    My passion is for fabric and stitch, my background in illustration, fashion and hand-embroidery. Recently my practice has grown using new methodologies to create large-scale installations and interactions.     I am a graphic designer and a visual artist. I work mostly in oil on canvas but work sometimes with acrylic and water colour. Most of my recent paintings were influenced political and social upheaval of our world today and the works of the Renaissance artists. I do not like artworks to be just for decoration but to evoke feelings.
