My interest in the natural world, the climate crisis and threats to biodiversity are reflected in the work that I make in a variety of materials.     Emma is an embroidery artist who works with recycled ,aluminium, drinks cans. Using ancient design techniques such as engraving and goldwork embroidery. After burnishing the inside of the can turns a golden colour which she sews onto. The contrast in materials is a focal point of her practice. She also woks on site specific settings and immersive projects.
