    My work is an emotional response to the coastal landscape and not a literal interpretation of what I see. The compositions that I develop are not particularly concerned with the specifics of place, but more the elemental relationship between land, sky and sea. The freedom and spontaneity of mark making and gestural paint application allow me to express a more personal image of the environment.

    Though rooted in printmaking, my MA in Fine Art (UAL) encouraged me to expand my practice to include installation and assemblage. I use a range of media including traditional (e.g. print, ceramics) and newer technologies (e.g. laser cut) which I combine to stretch possibilities.     Who am I? A question I will always struggle with. I have two sides- my feminine and my masculine . My routes of action films and sci-fi has merged with my love for glamour, pop culture, costume and character. The questioning of identity and gender within myself and society has led way to a desire to explore this and other social topics through my work. Society is my biggest inspiration.
