    I am an artist predominantly working in print. I have recently been working on a series of Later-Day Saints inspired by medieval medical saints found in The Welcome Collection. I have been involved in many public art projects and am a keen educator. I run print workshops in my studio and at The Whitworth in Manchester. I also have a portable press for visiting schools and art groups.

    Deborah Hercun is a printmaker and photographer who plays with images, moving and still, colour and monochrome. Her love of photography has a perfect partner in photopolymer etching, where ‘making strange’ can be taken a step further, and where no two prints are exactly the same. She also uses her photographs in screenprinting, and is planning to develop artists books in the future.

    CJ Crochet has been birthed out of honour, gratitude and appreciation for my beautiful, wise and inspiring late Mum, who taught me how to crochet little squares when I was very young and then left it to me to discover, experiment and think outside the box of self-discovery, progression and growth.     Connection, alienation and separation are common threads throughout, themes that have run consistently through her 30 years as an artist. My approach is intuitive, experimental and without predetermined ideas. I allow spontaneous marks and textures to start the direction of the work, with tighter control and decision making coming into play as the piece develops. I live and work in Deal, Kent.

    I am an artist/musician based in Northwest UK. I am a contemporary history painter... I paint the Now as History... The images I create can be viewed as socio-political commentary. Or comedy, or farce. I see my practice as continuing the ideas' imagery / imagined psychological landscapes of Bosch, Breughel, Hogarth, Beckmann and Goya.
