Not all signals can be decoded, but they still flow. We are searching for those emotional echoes that are beyond the logic of technology.

In an era dominated by data and hard logic.

We are looking for signals that are ‘not quite the same’.

They are less precise, but more human.

They may be the echoes of emotions, dreams, or the body.

They can be failed connections, distorted transmissions, and fuzzy empathy.

“Soft Data:” is an exhibition for ‘soft expression in a technological context’.

We don't ask for a specific medium. We don't set the threshold of style. We are only looking for:

1. Uncertain language

2. Unusual data

3. Slow rhythm

4. And those who still insist on feeling the world outside of algorithms.

“Soft Data:” is curated by Lyra Tian and co-curated by Erika Song (www.erika-song.com/about).

This exhibition is dedicated to uplifting marginalised voices, identities, and artistic practices.

We are committed to supporting disabled and/or neurodivergent applicants, including those with cognitive, sensory, or mental health-related access needs.

Selected artists may receive an official recommendation letter!

Thank you for your interest and support.
