OPEN CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS for Crane Court Gallery's Square Mile Summer Exhibition

Crane Court Gallery's Square Mile Summer Exhibition will present work in the form of painting, drawing, sculpture, mixed-media and print. The open-call show will exhibit a number of emerging, mid-career and established artists, a showcase of fresh and engaging art.

We are looking for original and engaging works of high quality in the form of painting, drawing, sculpture, mixed-media and print.

We encourage artists to apply regardless of their previous exhibiting experience or artistic qualifications.

The show will consist of works displayed over 4 floors and all work displayed will be available for sale. 

You can submit up to 3 works. Please submit a new application form for each work.

Exhibition Timetable:

Submission Deadline: Midnight on Monday, 2 June 2025.

Delivery date: Between Tuesday 1 July - Friday 11 July (delivery timetable sign-up will be sent out to
successful applicants)

The Private View: Thursday 31 July 2025. We encourage all exhibiting artists to attend.

Collection of unsold works: Friday 29 August to Friday 5 September 2025 (excluding weekends) (collection timetable signup will be sent out)

There is no application fee for Crane Court Gallery's Summer Exhibition.

The Gallery will charge a commission (“the Commission”) of 50% of the Sale Price (or the Sold Price if different), and You will receive 50%, of the Sale Price (or Sold Price, if different), after the Gallery and You have accounted for Value Added Tax (VAT).

Crane Court Gallery is a new art gallery, cultural hub and entertaining space located just off Fleet Street in the heart of the EC4 district of the historic City of London.

The gallery's mission is to function as an arts and culture meeting point for City workers, residents and visitors alike, showcasing diverse and talented groups of artists with a regular programme of group shows, solo shows, exhibitions that speak to specific mediums and interests, and collaborations with other galleries and collectives.

Crane Court Gallery have put on multiple exhibitions since its opening in November 2024, with a specific focus on group shows.

For its inaugural exhibition Gestures: Contemporary Visions presented  sixteen artists practicing across bronze, silver, marble, painting and mixed media.

A Scottish Symphony: Form and Colour exhibited 18 artists from, and working in Scotland connected not only by a shared heritage and embrace of place, but also by their commitment to their respective crafts and mediums.

Who is eligible for this opportunity?
Crane Court Gallery's Summer Exhibition has no eligibility restrictions. We encourage anyone to apply regardless of their previous exhibiting experience or artistic qualifications.
